Dunkin' Brands' ice-cream flagship, Baskin-Robbins, has announced a special ice-cream cake in honour of the Royal Wedding of Prince William and Catherine Middleton - the 'English Garden' ice-cream cake.

Inspired by the colourful gardens of the Cotswolds in central England and a first of its kind, the "English Garden" ice cream cake may be customized with any flavour ice cream. The six inch round wedding cake is available at participating Baskin-Robbins locations in single and two-tiered options.

Baskin-Robbins is the largest franchised ice cream brand around the world with almost 6,400 ice cream shops in 39 countries, and 86 outlets in Australia.

General Manager of Baskin-Robbins Australia, Ian Martin, said: "Our ice cream cakes are hugely popular but we have never attempted such a traditional cake design as this. Whether it's a grand celebration like the Royal Wedding, or the perfect dessert to cap a romantic dinner, Baskin-Robbins ice cream cakes are the perfect treat to share with family and friends to make any moment a little sweeter."

Baskin-Robbins will also offer a new romantic Flavour of the Month this April, Chocolate Dipped Strawberry, a "decadent" pairing of vanilla and strawberry ice creams wrapped with a chocolate ganache ribbon and loaded with strawberry filled chocolates shaped like strawberries.

"Chocolate Dipped Strawberry" ice cream and the "English Garden" ice cream wedding cakes are available at Baskin-Robbins shops throughout Australia beginning April 20.
