The late Robin Williams was a "World of Warcraft" game fanatic. So when he died, fans of the actor petitioned for Blizzard to create a character as tribute to the comedian. Apparently, Blizzard was being true to their word when developers said they would be "taking care of it". Players are reportedly starting to see some easter eggs in the game signifying the late actor's movie characters.

Wowhead has reportedly been tracking down the progress of the petition as posted by Inquisitr on its site and reads as follows.

"Create an NPC within World of Warcraft to memorialize the late Robin Williams, an avid World of Warcraft player and one of the funniest men alive. Because of his presence within our community, we the players of World of Warcraft are asking Blizzard to kindly create an NPC within the game that memorializes the actor/comedian".

Wowhead claims there are several references to the late actor from in-game characters in "World of Warcraft." A player nicknamed Haldhur reportedly found a "Robin" character in the game, which represents as a genie on an island off of Talador's coast. Inquisitr adds the genie can be found in the Warlords Draenor beta.

Summoning Robin entails the player to rub the Ever-burning lamp. According to the site, upon the first summon the genie would exclaim "INFINITE COSMIC POWER". Then he would shrink and wave goodbye as he says "itty bitty living space".

Another reference to Robin Williams reportedly pertains to a discovery of a large broken egg. Wowhead claims this could pertain to the actor's TV show portrayal of Mork. Although it could only be an alternative version, the site even added a photo of the game character dressed as Mork in overalls.

Other in-game characters include some stuffed animals and tanks that are believed to be references to the late comedian's involvement in "Toys". A woman character in "World of Warcraft" said to be dressed as "Mrs. Doubtfire" also memorialises Robin Williams.

According to Inquisitr, Robin Williams used to proclaim during interviews that he loves anything related to "World of Warcraft", from video games, graphic novels, board games to comic books. He even named his daughter Zelda Williams, after "The Legend of Zelda" that was reportedly first released in 1986.
