Arby’s announced on Monday the addition of the Wagyu Steakhouse Burger to its menu amid increasing competition among fast-food chains.

Known for its slogan “We Have The Meats,” Arby's is reintroducing the fast-food chain's first traditional beef hamburger option in almost 60 years. The burger -- a blend of 52% American Wagyu and 48% ground beef -- costs $5.99 and will be available through July 31.

“There are too many bad burgers out there. That's why Arby's created THIS burger with Wagyu beef, cooked medium-well with a hint of pink,” Arby’s said on its website.

The fast-food industry is currently seeing heavy competition, so Arby's is taking on other burger chains like McDonald's, Burger King, Wendy's, Sonic Drive-In, and Jack in the Box. Due to the high competition, fast-food chains frequently offer new items to stay reveleant to customers.

To stand out among the others, Arby’s says that is offering the “Wagyu blend” as a better-quality burger. The Wagyu-blended burger comes with American cheese, shredded lettuce, tomato, pickles, red onion and a special burger sauce on a toasted buttery brioche bun, the website explained.

There are currently 3,400 Arby’s locations in the U.S. The states with the most chain stores are Ohio, Indiana and Michigan. All together these Midwestern states make up 18% of all U.S. Arby's locations, Scrape Hero reported.

Arby’s faces much larger competition in the fast-food wars. In the U.S., there are 13,355 McDonald’s locations, 7,257 Burger King locations and 6,500 Wendy’s locations.
