'Supernatural' Season 10 Spoilers: Mid-Season Finale Episode Promo Photo Stills Tease Actress Kathryn Love Newton As Claire Novak

The released promo video for the mid-season finale episode of "Supernatural" Season 10 focused on the effect of the Mark of Cain on Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles). However, the promo photo stills released from the upcoming episode teased the other storylines such as Crowley's (Mark Sheppard) witch mother and the daughter of Castiel's (Misha Collins) vessel.

In "Supernatural" Season 10, episode 9 titled "The Things We Left Behind," it is Castiel's turn to get a blast from his vessel's past. According to the episode synopsis in an Examiner report, Castiel will be reunited with the teenager daughter of his vessel, Jimmy Novak.

Claire Novak got introduced in "Supernatural" Season 4, episode 20 titled "The Rapture." Claire became Castiel's vessel but her father, Jimmy, told the angel to take him instead.

The upcoming new episode will show a teenager Claire in a group home. Castiel was able to locate Claire but the teenager runs away from the angel after he managed to get her out of the group home.

In order to find Claire again, Castiel enlists the help of Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles). The promo photo stills in a Buddy TV report show actress Kathryn Love Netwon portraying the role of teenager Claire Novak in the mid-season finale episode. Click HERE to see photos.

Aside from Claire and the Winchester brothers outside of the Wiener Hut in the promo photos, Crowley's witch mother, Rowena (Ruth Connell) returns in the upcoming episode. The images show that the red-haired witch is still chained up in the cell and the King of Hell is talking to her.

The episode synopsis teased that Crowley is going to face his biggest challenge yet in the mid-season finale episode. As for Dean Winchester, the hunter will still feel the effects of the Mark of Cain so he asks Castiel in the released promo video a huge favor.

Dean wants Castiel to take him out if he heads down to the dark path again. Watch the extended promo video below. Mark the calendar because "Supernatural" Season 10, episode 9 or the mid-season finale episode titled "The Things We Left Behind" is scheduled to air on Tuesday night, Dec. 9, at 9 p.m. ET on the CW Network.
