Torino Winger Alessio Cerci have been linked to several English Premier League sides such as Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham, and Manchester United, but reports suggest that the Italian is going nowhere.

Scouts from the Premier League were at the stands as Cerci suited-up for Italy on Monday in a 2-2 draw against Nigeria at the Craven Cottage.

Cerci has tallied 8 goals and 3 assists in the ongoing 2013/14 Serie A for Torino.

Meanwhile, Torino president Urbano Cairo belied everything that has been circulating in the rumour mill and believes that Cerci will remain in Turin.

"I haven't received any calls from England for Cerci, even if I read in the newspapers that there is interest from British clubs," Cairo told TMW, as cited in The Mirror.

"As far as I am concerned, there's no truth to it. Will he stay at Torino in January? Of course!"

Cerci also followed up by telling Tuttosport: "It's not true. I haven't spoken to anyone."
