The PlayStation Network would be receiving another software update by today but the said update would just be minimal. The update that will roll out for today is dubbed as "v4.20".

The v4.20 update will focus more on the sound quality of wireless stereo headsets. One of the most common issues found in the sound quality of the PlayStation network is "sidetone" wherein a user hears their own echo through the sound system. Through this update, users would be able to adjust the sidetone or turn off this option completely. This update would also enable users to turn on virtuakl surround sound for wireless stereo headsets, automatic timer, and update for saved data management in order to select multiple files at the same time.
