Pete Davidson will be leaving "Saturday Night Live" this week after eight years on the NBC sketch comedy show, according to a report.

An unnamed source familiar with the matter told Variety that Kim Kardashian's boyfriend is expected to exit "SNL" after the Season 47 finale, hosted by Natasha Lyonne, airs this Saturday.

Aside from the "King of Staten Island" actor, Aidy Bryant, Kate McKinnon and Kyle Mooney are also leaving after the current season ends, according to the outlet.

NBC, "SNL" producers and the comedians have not released a statement addressing the report.

Davidson was only 20 years old when he first joined the show in 2014. He was one of the youngest cast members to ever be part of the long-running series, according to Page Six.

Early in his tenure, he primarily appeared only in segments on "Weekend Update," where he delivered self-deprecating stand-up routines. However, over time, he has developed a broader range while on the show and has made impressions of various celebrities and personalities, including former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, Rami Malek and more.

Davidson also often returns as the recurring character Chad, an apathetic man who remains oblivious in dire circumstances like being stalked by a killer or going on a SpaceX mission.

Earlier this week, Davidson cracked a few jokes about "SNL" appearing on the streaming hub Peacock when he appeared at NBCUniversal's upfront presentation.

"I can’t believe we are going to be on Peacock, the streamer that is responsible for so so many great shows like 'MacGruber' and the reruns of 'The Office,'" he joked, before adding, "I’m here so the media will finally start paying attention to me."

In February 2020, Davison told Charlamagne Tha God that he had been "having conversations" about leaving "SNL," but at the time, he was unsure and didn't want to "leave too early."

He also sparked rumors that he was exiting after Season 46 when he gave an emotional speech during its finale.

"I’m very grateful to be here," Davidson said at the time. "It's been an honor to grow up in front of you guys."

After the season finale, Davidson continued to fuel the rumors that he was leaving the NBC sketch comedy series when he said in an interview that he was "ready to hang up the jersey."

"Yeah, I'm good. I’m surprised I made it to seven [seasons]," he told The Hollywood Reporter in May 2021.

However, Davidson returned when "SNL" Season 47 premiered in October 2021. The comedian admitted during a "Weekend Update" segment, "I can't believe I'm back."
