More Mikaelson family secrets got revealed in "The Originals" Season 2, episode 6 titled "Wheel Inside the Wheel" as Esther (Sonja Sohn) and Klaus (Joseph Morgan) face each other. Someone from the Original hybrid's past returned and Esther uses the truth about that person to convince her son in accepting her offer of a new life.

Spoiler Alert: This feature contains major spoilers on "The Originals" Season 2, episode 6 titled "Wheel Inside the Wheel."

A flashback scene begins the episode which reveals about Esther's deal that requires a heavy sacrifice with her older and much powerful witch sister, Dalia. Basically, Esther was asking her sister for help regarding her fertility issues.

At present time, Esther and Finn (Yusuf Gatewood) gave an instruction to execute the traitor werewolf Oliver (Chase Coleman). Then, Esther deals with Elijah (Daniel Gillies), who is still sleeping and seeing visions of horror, by slashing his throat and whispering a spell.

When Klaus decided to find Elijah on his own, Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) shifts her attention to saving Oliver with Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) and Gia (Nishi Munshi) helping her. Their plan is to distract Finn, who currently controls the werewolves, while Hayley rescues Oliver from execution.

The group found their perfect distraction in Cami (Leah Pipes) who finds out that her adviser, Vincent Griffith, is really Finn Mikaelson, Klaus' brother. Hayley also tried to reconnect with Jackson (Nathan Parsons) and convince him to be the Alpha but the werewolf declined.

Fortunately, a mysterious man living with Jackson agreed to help Hayley in rescuing Oliver. Hayley brings a seriously injured Oliver to Jackson. Oliver asked Jackson to forgive him for his betrayal when he sided with Francesca Correa (Peta Sergeant).

Then, Oliver tried to convince his brother that he is the Alpha that could free the werewolf pack and lead them because they are not meant to be slaves. However, the witches meant what they said that Oliver only has until midnight to live so the werewolf died in Jackson's arms after blood came out of his eyes and mouth.

Klaus and Esther faced each other once again at the plantation when the Original hybrid tried to burn his mother's corpse. Esther assured Klaus that she will give Elijah back to him but the two must discuss first her offer of a new life for the hybrid.

During their discussion, Esther finds out that Mikael (Sebastian Roché) is also back from the dead and Kol (Daniel Sharman) has been keeping that information from her. The Original witch tried a different approach in convincing Klaus to accept her offer and it involves the truth when it comes to his biological father.

Esther revealed that the death of their daughter, Freya, made Mikael distant so she ended up in the arms of another man. Esther made Klaus sleep, just like Elijah, and the Original hybrid's dream was about seeing his biological father dead after Mikael killed him.

It turns out that the mysterious man who lives with Jackson and helped Hayley rescue Oliver is Klaus' real father named Ansel. After Esther revealed to Klaus where Elijah is, the Original hybrid went there and found out that his real father is still alive. However, the Original hybrid did not want to believe that he is back in the flesh because he thinks it is just one of Esther's tricks or illusion to make him give in to her offer.

Esther assures Klaus that his father is back from the dead because she managed to pull him out from the Other Side before it finally collapsed. Her plan for Klaus is to transform him and be with his father who can teach him become the man he is supposed to be.

When Klaus still refused her offer, Esther asks why and the Original hybrid finally reveals that it goes back to the time when Esther came for his hybrid daughter. Klaus swears that he will make Esther suffer but the Original witch insists that Klaus does not understand.

A flashback scene showed Esther, who is pregnant with Elijah, begging her sister Dalia not to take her first born child, Freya. However, Dalia reminded her sister that it is time for her to collect as part of their deal.

"Our bargain was for this first born and every first born of each generation that is to come," Dalia explains. Esther warns her sister that she will turn to the black magic and make her pay but Dalia responds that her power is nothing compared to her and if Esther defies her, she will return to take all of her children.

Finn finds out that Klaus has turned down Esther's offer. Finn thinks his brother is a fool and believes that her mother's actions on Klaus' hybrid daughter were to save the Mikaelson family because Dalia will return to collect. However, Finn and Esther do not really know the truth that Klaus' child is alive and safe with aunt Rebekah Mikaelson (Claire Holt).

"The Originals" Season 2 will return with episode 7 titled "Chasing the Devil's Tail" on Monday night, Nov. 17, at 8 p.m. ET on the CW Network.
