Nicki Minaj has turned platinum blonde. The rapper took to Instagram and posted a picture of her new look on Monday. She shared the picture with her 39.3 million followers.

Minaj posted a series of three pictures--all selfies on her Instagram on Monday. The first picture shows her sitting in front of a mirror, apparently in a salon, as she ponders over her look. The picture shows Minaj wearing a pink sleeveless dress. She shows off her deep pink manicured nails and pale pink lipstick. She highlights her eyes with a black eyeliner done in cat eye style. It shows off her short, blonde, centre-parted hair.

In the second picture, Minaj pouts for the camera. Make-up brushes and a hanger full of clothes are seen hanging in the background. The last picture is a close up.

Her new look comes after she opted for straight, dark locks at the 2015 AMAs on Sunday. She won the awards for Favorite Hip-Hop Artist and Favorite Hip-Hop Album at the show.

The rapper also got into a lot of trouble when she snubbed a fan, Entertainment Weekly reports. At the event, she threw a major shade at Jennifer Lopez, who was the host of the night and performed the rapper’s hit “Anaconda” number. Twitterati went berserk. “I’m looking at my own face on the screen when I’m looking to the right,” she tweeted. “I turn bak to look @ her.”

For the event, Nicki wore a plunging pink dress with a gold sequined floral design at the shoulders and cuffs. The dress showed off her cleavage and curves. It featured long sleeves and cut-outs near the waist. She sat next to Meek Mill during the ceremony.

The rapper’s make-up included pale pink lip gloss, black eyeliner and a deep red manicure. She accessorised with small earrings and a ring. Meanwhile, Mill opted for a black suit and matching golf cuff.

This is not the first time that Minaj, 32, has dyed her hair blonde. Back in September, the rapper, who is dating Meek, rocked long ombre locks with thick bangs. She also donned a blonde wig in her “Throw Some Mo” music video.

Known for her experimental nature, Nicki has tried every possible colour, cut and style for her hair. She is also known for her crazy wigs and weaves. However, the rapper has always bounced back to her all-time favourite hair colour: peroxide blonde.
