Frank Gore to the Philadelphia Eagles in this offseason of the National Football League, or NFL, is not yet final and the veteran running back who previously played for the San Francisco 49ers is reconsidering his options and may choose to sign with another NFL squad.

Ian Rapoport of NFL.com tweeted the development early on Tuesday. ESPN Insider Adam Schefter also confirmed the latest on the Gore free agency news and has stated that the Indianapolis Colts are now in play for the veteran RB.

Scheffer also added that Eagles are now in the market for a running back in case they don’t finalise the deal with Gore, who has spent all of his 10 NFL seasons with one team, the 49ers.

The 31 year old Gore, who is the 49ers’ all-time rushing yards leader, will be entering his 11th NFL season. He has recorded 1,000-plus rushing yards in eight of 10 seasons in San Francisco. In the last four seasons, he ran for 1,100-plus yards and has made the NFL Pro Bowl five times in his NFL career in 2006, 2009, 2011, 2012 and 2013.
