Archie Panjabi has made her last appearance in the finale episode of “The Good Wife” Season 6. Panjabi’s Kalinda Sharma has gone off the grid in the CBS series, but her character remains alive. In the film “San Andreas,” Panjabi is playing Serena, an investigative reporter.

“San Andreas” tells the story of a rescue helicopter pilot (Dwayne Johnson) whose wife and daughter are in grave danger during a massive earthquake in California. In a ScreenSlam video on YouTube Panjabi says Johnson’s real-life persona matches his character in the movie.

Panjabi said she liked the script of the “San Andreas” movie, and she’s “thrilled” to be a part of a disaster film. The actress played the role of the feisty private investigator Kalinda Sharma on “The Good Wife” from 2009 to 2015. She has won an Emmy for her supporting role in the series.

Meanwhile, fans and critics did not appreciate the final scene of Alicia Florrick (Julianna Margulies) and Kalinda on “The Good Wife” Season 6 finale. The ladies’ farewell scene was the result of superimposing separately filmed footages of Margulies and Panjabi.

There are rumours that Margulies and Panjabi have not been friendly toward each other for a while. The final scene involving their characters in “The Good Wife” did not help. However, but there has been no confirmation from either actress on any conflict between them.

Panjabi is currently busy promoting “San Andreas.” The movie’s trailer has been well-received so far, as it is now going viral on YouTube and social media sites.

“San Andreas” is a film by director Brad Peyton. It was collaboratively written by Allan Loeb, Carlton Cuse, Carey Hayes and Chad Hayes. Andre Fabrizio and Jeremy Passmore worked on the original script. The movie will run in Australian cinemas on May 28, and it will be in U.S. cinemas on May 29.
