Fans want another go at "The Mortal Instruments" and producers are making sure that they get what they want.

Lily Collins had recently spoken with MTV.com saying that she doesn't know when filming would begin for the second book in "The Mortal Instruments" franchise. Recent reports have shown that the producers of the movie are talking and have finally reached a filming date this year. Lily Collins will surely be reprising her role as a "Shadowhunter," playing the role of the heroine, Clary Fray.

Various sites such as comingsoon.com had already posted "The Mortal Instruments: City of Ashes" as a movie that would soon be out for fans to watch. Producers have talked about the movie and will be doing everything to make it better and for it to lure the readers of the book towards the movie.

Lily Collins had mentioned that she doesn't know when filming for the movie would begin but she did say:

"We don't know that [it is happening]. Well, there is a lot of conversation still going on. I don't know anything else; I kind of am with everyone else in the waiting game."

"I love the stories, I love Clary, we love the cast - I just have no clue, I think I'm like all the fans going, 'So, what's happening?' But you know they will be the first ones to figure it out when we do. You never know, right?"

Other stars of the movie include Jamie Campbell Bower who plays the role of Jace Wayland eventually becoming Jonathan Morgenstern then Jace Herondale in the series, he is also the hero and love of Clary Fray, played by Lily Collins.

Filming will start his 2014 and readers of the book will surely be pleased with "The Mortal Instruments: City of Ashes".
