Ten more artists are set to perform for this year's GRAMMY Awards, most of which are nominees and awardees.

Leading the list are current nominees Taylor Swift, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, John Legend, Keith Urban and Kacey Musgraves.

Ringo Starr and Paul McCartney of legendary band The Beatles are also set to perform for this year's award, where they will receive the Recording Academy Lifetime Achievement Award.

Carole King will receive the 2014 MusiCares Person of the Year Award, and will perform in a special number alongside GRAMMY nominee Sara Bareilles.

Swift and Bareilles immediately announced the news over their social media accounts.

"I still can't believe it," Bareilles, a first-time Grammy performer, writes on her Twitter account. 'I'm performing on @TheGRAMMYs with@MusiCares Person of the Year @Carole_King! 1/26 on @CBSTweet. #pinchme #myhero'

"It's the 13th and it's 13 days until @TheGRAMMYs. I'm aware that I talk about 13's too much (as well as cats and food) but 2 in one day!!!" tweets Swift, seeming to take reference to her favourite number 13.

Bareilles has two nominations from the GRAMMYs: Album of the Year for The Blessed Unrest and Best Pop Solo Performance for Brave. Swift, on the other hand, has four nominations: Album of the Year and Best Country Album for Red, Best Country Duo/Group Performance for "Highway Don't Care" with Tim McGraw and Urban, and Best Country Song for "Begin Again."

These ten artists join the roster of artists who are set to perform at the GRAMMYs, including Lorde, Katy Perry, Daft Punk with Nile Rodgers, Pharrell Williams, and Stevie Wonder; Kendrick Lamar with Imagine Dragons;Metallica and Lang Lang; P!nk and Nate Ruess of fun.; Robin Thicke and with Chicago, and a special performance with Merle Haggard Kris Kristofferson, Willie Nelson, and Blake Shelton.

The 56th Annual GRAMMY Awards will be held on Jan. 26, Sunday (Pacific Time) at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. It will be broadcast live over at CBS in the U.S. and at Foxtel in Australia on Jan. 27, Monday at 12pm.
