Mariah Carey recently arrived in Melbourne to be with her beau James Packer. They will celebrate New Year’s Eve after their holiday in Aspen, Colorado. The celebrity couple reunited at Packer’s Crown Casino. The singer-songwriter and actress is set to perform at a special VIP event at Crown Melbourne on Thursday night. Packer and Carey briefly talked to each other before posing for the cameras. She wore a large diamond ring on her left hand which sparked rumours of an engagement with Packer.

The Sydney Morning Herald reports that Packer waited to open the car door for Carey. The pair quickly exchanged a kiss, held hands and walked into the Crown Casino’s foyer. The “All I Want For Christmas Is You” diva quickly stole the spotlight. She wore a black gown with a plunging neckline. Plus, the giant diamond ring on her finger simply can’t be ignored. It looks like an engagement ring but there’s no official announcement yet from the couple about it.

Carey’s relationship with Packer has been the talk of the town lately. In November, it was rumoured that Carey has moved in with her billionaire boyfriend. They were in Aspen to celebrate Christmas 2015. Despite the cold weather there, the 45-year-old singer still managed to strip down to a gold bathing suit and posed in the freezing snow. Before flying to Colorado, the “Infinity” and “We Belong Together” singer also spent some quality time with ex-husband Nick Cannon and their twins Moroccan and Monroe. Aside from being with her loved ones during the holidays, she also released her directorial debut “A Christmas Melody” on Dec. 19.

Carey was married to American music executive Tommy Mottola from 1993–1998. Then, she married comedian, rapper and host Nick Cannon in 2008. But they divorced in April 2015. Meanwhile, Packer was previously married to Australian fashion designer Jodhi Meares from 1999–2002 and Australian model and singer Erica Packer from 2007–2013. Maybe Carey and Packer will finally be lucky in love for the third time and end up getting married soon as well as live happily ever after. As the sayings go “Third time lucky,” or “Third time’s a charm.”
