A huge number of big names invaded the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada this morning to watch the most awaited fight between two of the most prolific pound-for-pound boxers of today. Actors and actresses, models, singers, rappers, millionaires, athletes and socialites swarmed the place, heating things up long before the match ensued.

Even A-listers did not pass on the opportunity to witness the epic matc. Veteran actors Clint Eastwood and Robert De Niro were present. The American tycoon Donald Trump was also spotted with his wife, Rappler reports.

Stars of the music industry were also among the high-paying VIP list, such as Nicki Minaj, the Jonas Brothers, and the famed celebrity couple Beyonce and Jay Z. Other celebrities that made an appearance include Jake Gyllenhaal, Drew Barrymore, Denzel Washington, Ben Affleck and Mark Wahlberg, who was seen taking a picture with Pacquiao's mother, Dionisia Pacquiao, The Philippine Star reports.

Sports legends were didn't dare miss out on the 'fight of the century', among them Andre Agassi, Michael Jordan and Shane Mosley. Truly the match was star-studded, as these big names attended to cheer on their champions. Nobody is immune to the thrill of the match between the two celebrated faces of the sport.

Despite the close match, as both were fairly equal in terms of skill and sheer amount of experience, Floyd Mayweather won the match. According to The New York Times, Mayweather allowed himself to praise his opponent's skills: “Manny Pacquiao is still a champion,” he said. “He still has a lot left. I was the better man tonight -- more calculated fighter, took my time, had patience.”

Floyd Mayweather, 38, was known far and wide for his unbeatable record of 47 wins, 0 losses. He further the extent of his sublime strength by winning the match via unanimous decision. No matter the outcome, both athletes proved they were both forces to be reckoned with.
