Real Madrid superstar Gareth Bale gave a hint that the up-and-coming youngster Raheem Sterling could join him in Spain after declaring praises for the Liverpool winger, stating that "the sky is the limit" for the Jamaica-born starlet.

The 19-year-old had a prolific 2013/14 Premier League season, racking up 9 goals and 7 asssits, in spite initially struggling to convince Brendan Rodgers to give him regular game time. He then carried it over to a fine showing at the previous World Cup in Brazil.

"If you look at Raheem Sterling, I think he's shown what a good player he is. He's starting to perform more consistently," said the former Tottenham man.

"If he keeps working hard and doing what he's doing then he's going to keep progressing and the sky is his limit."

The Santiago Bernabeu outfit are reported to be keen on taking advantage of the Merseysiders' seeming lack of faith shown on Sterling, as he is still yet to be offered an improved contract, still receiving a modest weekly wage of £30,000 despite having a crucial role in the Reds squad.
