The iconic TV series "Full House" is coming back to television before Netflix, thanks to Lifetime...sort of. Working on the same story telling technique of the "Unauthorized Saved by the Bell Story", the highly anticipated movie will look at the behind the scenes of its major casts during and after the TV series.

Stories of Bob Saget, John Stamos, the Olsen Twins and other major casts that took part of the series will be revealed in a "tell-all" style. Even though the first "tell-all" TV movie of Lifetime did not gain the expected views (only 1.6 million views), the TV network still green lit the project using the same team that made Bell. Casting is about to start with no definite air date yet.

Lifetime's "Unauthorized Full House" announcement comes with the recent announcement of Netflix. The video streaming giant recently announced that it will revive the popular family comedy TV series with 13 episodes through a spin-off. Although some of its casts will reprise their role only as guest stars, Candace Cameron-Bure (D.J.), Jodie Sweetin (Stephanie) and Andrea Barber (Kimmy) will reprise their characters.

Cameron-Bure and Sweetin are on-screen sisters and Barber is their best friend which would be a direct sequel to the series that ended in 1995. John Stamos, the series' Uncle Jesse will make an appearance as guest star. Stamos is also billed as the show's producer.

Reception to the planned TV movie based on the widely popular comedy series of the late 80s is lukewarm. Upon learning of the planned TV movie by Lifetime, John Stamos tweeted, "Full House TV movie on @lifetimetv?? Hmmmm - yeah right, good luck with that."

Full House debuted on American TV through ABC on September 22, 1987. The show eventually became one the most popular TV series in the country running for seasons with 192 episodes.

Full House made its stars a household name not only during its original run until 1992 as many of its stars found fame even after the show. Recent reunions of its cast members has also boosted the popularity of its cast members and excitement with planned spin-off.
