Lenovo may have just made a breakthrough with its Vibe P1. This handset may have topped the market, with regards to battery features, with a 5,000 mAh battery.

What makes the device even more interesting is that, despite the large battery, the Vibe P1's price is considerably low at $280 - as compared to its competitors. Plus, the Vibe P1 also reportedly charges up more quickly than others. Lenovo has claimed that charging the unit for only five minutes can give its user up to three hours' worth of usage, according to CNET.

The device also boasts of a special physical switch - the OneKey PowerSaver - that may be used to preserve power. The Vibe P1 package also comes with a USB Bluetooth headset that can be used for charging other devices using the smartphone's juice.

Although, clearly, the Vibe P1's main feature is its battery, the unibody smartphone also has other things to boast of. It sports a 5.5-inch touch screen display with a 1,920 x 1,080 pixel resolution. Its primary camera with a dual color flash feature boasts of 13 megapixels, while the one on its front has 5 megapixels.

Furthermore, it runs on the Android 5.1 Lollipop and a 1.5 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor. With regards to its storage features, it reportedly has 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage, with an option to extend up to 128 GB of external storage. Clearly, with the specs that the Vibe P1 will reportedly have, it is belongs to today's higher end range of smartphones.

The Vibe P1 seems to be Lenovo's attempt supply the public's great demand for a device that has a longer charge life. Also, it would seem that Lenovo has figured out why electronic charging has not gotten any better through the years. With stronger processors and more pixel-packed displays, Lenovo's 5,000 mAh smartphone with a short charging time, the Vibe P1 is certainly appealing to potential buyers.
