Kate, Pippa Middleton, Adele, Hailed Most Influential Women in London [PHOTOS]

Update: In an interview with The Mail on Sunday, a friend reports that Pippa Middleton was dumped by Alex Loudon because she was not "wife material." The friend told the Mail: "‘Alex’s parents were welcoming but they were always somewhat lukewarm about the relationship. They didn’t see Pippa as ‘wife material’. James and his wife Jane both come from very good families."

The London Evening Standard has included these famous women in their annual top 20 "Most Influential" people in the capital among many other personalities.

The Duchess of Cambridge and her younger sister truly made an impact this year, with their names included in the prestigious newspaper's annual list of influential personalities in Britain's capital city. London's efficient mayor Boris Johnson topped the list, with Prime Minister David Cameron coming in at second.

The third and fourth positions went to Chancellor George Osborne and he Governor of the Bank of England, Sir Mervyn King.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and Kate Middleton are hailed as the "Most Influential Royals" for their unwavering efforts on charity work and the immense impact they had after tying the knot last April.

Grammy-winning songstress, Adele, who was born and raised in Tottenham, is also included in the coveted list. The 23-year-old gained much international acclaim for her albums "19," and "21," - with the second one breaking Guiness Book of World Records music categories for remaining at the top position in worldwide album sales since its release in January.

Pippa Middleton, whose celebrity status only escalated in association to her Royal sister, also made the list, with designer, Sarah Burton, whose wedding gown creation for the Duchess became a worldwide sensation just minutes after its revelation.
