The Hunger Games trilogy has definitely raked up millions of dollars worldwide-after having released the first two installments of Suzanne Collin's masterpiece. The Hunger Games, released in 2012, shows the initial stage where Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) is thrown into a pit for survival. Katniss Everdeen is enmeshed in a developing love conflict between her longtime best friend Gale who is left to watch Katniss battle it out in the arena called Cornucopia and Peeta Mellark, son of a baker who expresses his love for her.

The second installment tells us a story of how the now victors of the 74th Hunger Games, Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark as they are embroiled in a deep political controversy with the heads of the Capitol. In the third and final installment, Katniss Everdeen agrees to consolidate the whole of Panem in an attempt to overthrow the seat of power in the Capitol.

The Mockingjay film shall also come in two installments. The first part is said to be released on Nov. 15, 2014 while the concluding part to the trilogy shall be released in the following year (Nov. 15, 2015). As fans await for the showing of Mockingjay, the crew gave out a baffling surprise--they announced the addition of a new character in the film called Antonious. Prison Break actor Robert Knepper is said to have snagged the role of the mysterious character.

Many fans have tried to guess the role of Antonious in the film. According to some sources, in an attempt to flesh out the movie for the two parts, Antonious shall be part of the torturing team of Johanna, Lavinia and Darius. Some claim that Antonious shall be responsible for the hijacking of Peeta in the film. Others surmise that Antonious shall be working close to the Capitol, as part of the military defense of the city.

However, official reports say that Antonious shall instead be the minister of President Snow. Having divided the film into two parts, Antonious adds more depth and color to the story.

Meanwhile, other actors such as Julianne Moore , Lily Rabe and Patina Miller shall be joining the original cast including Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth.
