Zach Galifianakis, who played the character of Alan in The Hangover movies has revealed a dramatic weight loss. It seemed to have lost the weight in a couple of months.

According to the Huffington Post, he sported a slimmer frame at the Birdman film premier at Alice Tully Hall in New York lasy October 12. His new movie, Birdman, with the subtitle or the Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance, is about a superhero who is about to reveal a Broadway play. This was the first public appearance that he made in the entire year. When he was asked about his weight loss, he was not taking it seriously.

Alicia Quarles from E! News interviewed him on the red carpet about his weight loss and he joked that he was just dying. Alicia then told him that he looked good and pointed to his suit and said that it suited him well. He replied comically that it was a ladies' size 50. He was wearing a grey suit with blue checks along with a pale blue shirt and a navy tie to complete his outfit.

On "The Tonight Show" last October 14, Zach had a conversation with Jimmy Falton about various topics including his weight loss. He said that he had quit drinking and that had helped his weight loss. He joked that he used to have sausage along with lots of vodka and though it was delicious, it was also unhealthy. He also mentioned that he wasn't done losing weight yet.

According to Hollywood Life, Zach had lost 50 pounds making him look like a new man. He was said to have lost a lot of weight that reflected on his face as well.

In an interview with Hollywood Reporter during the movie premier, he said that it was gross sometimes, the way that Hollywood congratulated itself all the time. He said that he was not a fan of being in the spotlight. He continued that it was confusing him.

He said that he was not interested in being a celebrity and that he liked just to be an actor. He said that the blurred lines between being a celebrity and an actor is a manmade thing.
