Days after Jamie Dornan officially joined the cast of "Fifty Shades of Grey" as Christian Grey, E.L. James made another exciting announcement over the weekend. "True Blood's'" Luke Grimes joins the film adaptation as Christian Grey's lovable brother, Elliot Grey. For those who still don't know who this actor is, here are the details.

While a lot of women have fallen head over heels in love for the character Christian Grey, a handful have fallen for Christian's equally good-looking but far less serious brother, Elliot Grey. Set to bring the character to life is none other than "True Blood" star, Luke Grimes. Author E.L. James made the exciting announcement over the weekend a few days after Jamie Dornan officially joined the cast.

"Get ready to be swept off your feet," tweeted James, adding, "Welcome Luke Grimes to #TeamFifty as Elliot Grey!"

Grimes stars in the HBO original series "True Blood" and plays the part of James. Luke's big screen break came in the film "Taken 2" where he was the boyfriend of Liam Neeson's daughter. Luke's other notable screen debut include the series "Brothers & Sisters." Everyone will also remember Luke Grimes as the good-looking hero opposite Amber Heard in "All the Boys Love Mandy Lane."

An Ohio native, Luke is currently working on three other films namely "Dark Around the Stars", "Forever" and "Manhattan Undying." Luke is currently 29 years of age which makes him older than his film character, Elliot Grey.

Other interesting fact about Luke Grimes is that he's the son of a preacher. Luke's father currently works as a Pentecostal pastor. As for getting down and dirty on screen, Luke apparently has no problem with it given he did play the part of a younger lover in the film "Sh*t Year."

"I'm not nervous," claimed Grimes about the raunchy scenes for "Fifty Shades," adding, "I probably will be. That's how I work. If there are any nerves, it won't happen until right before."

One last fact about Luke is that he had auditioned for the part of Edward Cullen in "Twilight." Obviously, Luke lost the part to Robert Pattinson but he played an even better vampire in "True Blood."
