Another title has been added to Beyonce's credentials. Apart from being a designer, entrepreneur, singer, songwriter, a wife and a mother, she is set to make her directorial debut for next year.

As announced on Monday, Beyonce is set to make a full-length directorial debut about her life which is set for next year. Following the trends which was started by Justin Bieber's Never Say Never and Katy Perry 3D, the millionaire singer also decided to take the plunge.

Beyonce is set to premier an "intimate" film about her personal life on HBO on February 16 next year.

"Directed by the superstar, the film is a fusion of video that provides raw, unprecedented access to the private entertainment icon and high-voltage performances," the network announced in a statement.

Looking back on past news about her documentary, the 31-year-old singer had long been looking for film partners since August.

"This film was so personal to me, it had to have the right home," the singer said last Monday.

On her efforts to show herself as an ordinary person and less of a celebrity, Beyonce shoots some of the footages on her laptop. In there, she reflects on her life as a pop superstar, as a person and shares her joy of becoming a mother.

The documentary also includes some home videos, her opinion about her family's role in her career to building her own empire, Parkwood Entertainment.

"Everybody knows Beyoncé's music, but few know Beyoncé the person. Along with electrifying footage of Beyoncé onstage, this unique special looks beyond the glamour to reveal a vibrant, vulnerable, unforgettable woman," Michael Lombardo, president of HBO programming said.

Next year is set for Beyonce's comeback. Not only will her documentary be released but she will also perform at the Super Bowl halftime on February 3.
