‘Avengers: Age Of Ultron': Andy Serkis Confirms Role As Ulysses Klaw, Talks 'Black Panther' Cameo

Andy Serkis has finally addressed reports pertaining to his rumoured role as Ulysses Klaw in “Avengers: Age of Ultron.” The actor recently confirmed during an interview that he is indeed playing the character and also commented on his possible cameo appearance in “Black Panther.”
During an interview with Empire Magazine at the Empire 2015 Jameson Empire Awards, Andy Serkis officially admitted that he will be playing as Ulysses Klaw in “Avengers: Age of Ultron.” "Well, I think I can absolutely confirm it's Ulysses Klaw now because I think the news is out," he said. Despite the actor’s confirmation, few details have so far been revealed regarding his involvement in the sequel. He was only briefly glimpsed in one of the trailers released for the film. As to how much screen time Ulysses Klaw will be sharing with the Avengers, Serkis revealed he only has few scenes. "It was really minimal, but I just loved doing it; it's a great character," he added.
Andy Serkis was also asked during the interview if there’s a chance for Ulysses Klaw to also appear not just in “Avengers: Age of Ultron” but also in the 2018 film “Black Panther” opposite Chadwick Boseman. Considering Ulysses Klaw’s importance in the “Black Panther” comicbook history, it’s supposedly safe to assume that the actor will continue to portray the character. However, Andy Serkis apparently still don’t have any idea yet where his character would take him in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The actor confirmed not knowing if he will reprise his role in future Marvel films.” I know that they've just announced the Black Panther movie, but I don't know anything about it,” he revealed.
How Ulysses Klaw will be introduced in “Avengers: Age of Ultron” still remains a mystery. However, according to Cinema Blend, the villain character’s rumoured appearance would start in Wakanda, Black Panther’s birthplace. His attempt to fully cover his entire body with Vibranium supposedly leads him to T’Challa’s homeland. Meanwhile, Screenrant proposed Ulysses Klaw ending up in Wakanda would have something to do with a deal he’s made with Ultron, considering the A.I. will reportedly be made of Vibranium in his “Prime” form.
