Amal Clooney's Plans For George Clooney's May 6 Birthday: An Expensive Car And A Smoothie Maker

George Clooney will turn 54-years-old on May 6 and his human right lawyer wife Amal Clooney has great plans to celebrate his birthday. The 37-year-old style diva is planning to gift Clooney a stylish and a super fast luxury sports car, new reports suggest. George's birthday gift is not a surprise for him as the actor has reportedly test driven the vehicle too.

Since this will be George's first birthday with his wife Amal, she is planning to make it special by gifting him a Porsche 911 GT3 RS, Mirror UK writes. The car was first unveiled at 2015 Geneva Motor Show in March and costs 135,000 pounds or approximately U.S. $204201. The Clooneys will have one of the first available units of Porsche 911 in the United States, Mirror UK writes.

George already drives a black Porsche 911 and loves his cars. This new model of Porsche will be faster and better in technology. "George loves his cars. They have to be stylish and fast, and he always has two," a family source close to the couple told Mirror. The Hollywood actor already owns a 1959 red and white Chevrolet Corvette.

His wife was looking for the “right car for him to replace his black Porsche 911 and the new one is much faster,” said the unnamed source adding that the “Gravity” actor has “test-driven” the mean machine too. The Porsche 911 GT3 RS comes with a new engine that is a “4.0-liter flat-six whose output registers at 500 horsepower and 338 pound-feet of torque,” according to the description of the car by Motor Authority. Apart from the pricey car, Amal is also gifting a smoothie-maker to George on his birthday as the actor loves to try out different smoothies, writes the website.

The couple also made headlines when they attended the MET Gala event together on Monday night in New York. Amal looked glamorous in tiered, Maison Margiela Couture gown by John Galliano in crimson red colour, E Online writes. Her off-shoulder gown had a beautiful sequin-covered bodice and a small train too. Clooney looked dapper in black Armani tuxedo and held his wife's hand lovingly throughout the red carpet appearance.
