Sony Xperia Z2 Availability: Where to Buy in the United States, Australia, Canada and India
Sony Mobile has expanded the availability of Xperia Z2 outside Europe and UK to Australia, Canada, India and the United States. Know the network carriers and suppliers selling Sony Xperia Z2 in your area.
Australia thru Optus and Telstra
Sony Mobile Australia is now offering Xperia Z2 costing at AU$ 759, excluding delivery costs. However, the online store noted that Xperia Z2 is currently out of stock and so buyers will have to wait till the shipment arrives.
If you prefer buying it from network carriers, Telstra is now offering the smartphone for AU$ 70 per month plan under 24 months term with minimum total cost of AU$1680. Telstra also welcomes their loyal customers to upgrade by viewing additional plans for Xperia Z2.
Optus offers Xperia Z2 with free Adidas trainers valued at AU$190 which should be claimed by July 31st. Moreover, the network provider offers 1.5 GB of data on the AU$60 MyPlan in addition to other deals costing up to AU$108 per month. Xperia Z2 off-contract from Optus costs AU$869 per unit.
Canada thru Bell
Sony Xperia Z2 is now available in Canada from its exclusive network carrier, Bell. It costs C$179.95 upfront under a two-year contract deal. You may also purchase the latest Sony smartphone off contract at a price of C$699.95 per unit.
Alternatively, you can purchase the Android handset from Sony online store at C$699.95 to get a network unlocked version for Canada. It is available in three colours - black, purple and white - and expected to be shipped starting on June 3rd.
India Pre-Orders
Sony Xperia Z2 hits India and currently available for pre-orders. Infibeam and Flipkart opened their pre-order line for interested buyers and offers Xperia Z2 at Rs. 49,990 per unit, available in black, purple and white.
It costs Rs. 49,990 as well at Sony's online store in India with freebies of SmartBand SWR10, a flip cover case and six months of accidental damage cover.
United States
So far, only GSMNation is offering Sony Xperia Z2 D6503. Interested buyers can purchase the device online for $799 with an unlocked network. It is currently compatible with AT&T and T-Mobile 4G-LTE network coverage.
It is also expected that Sony Mobile will make Xperia Z2 available from T-Mobile as per exclusivity of Sony devices. But certain reports revealed that Sony may add Verizon Wireless after an image leaked out with the network carrier's logo on the top of its display screen.
