In a twist to reports of casting couch used by some film producers to pick the stars of their next movie project by having sex with applicants, Nymphomaniac lead actor Shia Labeouf admitted on Wednesday he dropped his pants to get the role.

However, he did it not in front of director Lars Von Trier, but probably alone in the privacy of his bedroom to take selfie pictures of his penis. He took close up shots of his dick and in 20 minutes sent it to the production team, and voila! - the role was his.

In an interview with the film's Zentropa Productions, quoted by Pep.ph, the actor recalled, "The first info we got - and I'll never forget this because my entire team reacted with such fear - the first request from the production end, not Lars, was for pictures of my penis."

The actor had previously shown his buffed physique in a Sigur Ros music video shown below.

He also quoted a letter sent by the film director which reads: "Are you game?" Lars eventually told his production crew, "Let's time how long it takes this mother****r to send his d**k over the Internet."

Besides photos of his private parts, the 27-year-old actor also sent videos of himself and his girlfriend making love, and that sealed the movie deal.

Nymphomaniac, a risqué drama that narrates a woman's erotic journey from the time she was born until she reach 50, stars Shia, opposite Charlotte Gainsbourg and Stellan Skarsgard. It is said to be the most sexual movie ever made, filled with a lot of sex scenes and love-making and touted as a 50 Shades of Gray on steroids.
