A new announcement from Samsung, the Korean-based smartphone manufacturer, revealed that the company will be unveiling the Samsung Galaxy S III. The information was first revealed through Samsung's official Twitter account stating: "Destination: tgeltaayehxnx".

The incoherent word in the Twitter announcement is actually an anagram which can be arranged thus forming the word "The Next Galaxy". There is also newly-launched website with this anagram (www.tgeltaayehxnx.com) which features a countdown clock and the name of the web page is actually "A Whole New Universe". The end of the countdown would be on April 23 at around 7 a.m. ET. Based on these events, many people are speculating that a big event would occur before the supposed official unveiling on May 3.

Samsung has not denied not confirmed the rumors and speculations released about Samsung Galaxy S III. Though that is the case, it does not stop people from looking for "leaked" information about the Samsung Galaxy S III. The latest leak that has been circulating the web is from Amazon Germany. Android Next and The Verge were the first websites to report about the Samsung Galaxy S III feature in the German Amazon webpage. The listing featured several specifications of the Samsung Galaxy S III which includes the following:

  • 4.7-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen display
  • 12MP camera with autofocus, face detection and LED flash
  • Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich
  • 16GB of internal memory (expandable to 32GB)

Aside from the specifications, the suggested selling price of the Samsung Galaxy S III was also listed. The smartphone is listed at around €599 which is equivalent to US$788.

Experts and smartphone customers are all anticipating the release of Samsung Galaxy S III since the Samsung Galaxy S II received many positive reviews and considerable success in the market. The Samsung Galaxy S III is supposedly an improved version of the Samsung Galaxy S II and many people are anxious to get their hands on this new device from Samsung.
