Even though, the latest Microsoft Lumia 640 smartphone is not officially available in the U.S., the famous online retailer Expansys USA has listed the device. Expansys USA offers this mid-range handset with dual-SIM support and LTE connectivity. To top it off, Microsoft is apparently offering the Lumia 640 LTE in three different vibrant colours namely cyan, black and orange.

As far as the Lumia 640 price is concerned, the device will reportedly set the buyers back by $220 for the black variant. The orange and cyan versions, on the other hand, can be availed for $245 each. In any case, readers are advised to verify the supported LTE bands of the handset in order to make sure the preferred carrier supports the handset, cautions GSM Arena. Moving on to the Lumia 640 specifications, the phone apparently features a 5.0-inch IPS LCD display complemented by a good screen resolution of 1,280 x 720 pixels. This display combination translates to a modest pixel density of 294 ppi.

Speaking of hardware configurations, the device is powered by a quad-core (Qualcomm Snapdragon 400) processor running at 1.2 GHz and backed by 1 GB of RAM. On the software end, the handset runs on Windows Phone 8.1 OS along with Lumia Denim update, straight out of the box. When it comes to memory, the Lumia 640 LTE comes equipped with 8 GB of in-built storage capacity and microSD card slot for expansion up to 128 GB. Furthermore, the device is 0.35-inch thick and it weighs only 145 g. For the display protection, Microsoft has apparently utilised Corning’s Gorilla Glass 3, plus the well-known ClearBlack display is also part of this Lumia handset.

With respect to camera specification, the handset sports an 8 MP rear-facing unit with LED flash, in addition to a 1 MP snapper at the front for selfies. Lastly, the phone houses a good 2,500 mAh battery unit, which is capable of providing up to 17 hours of 3G talk time and 864 hours of 3G stand-by time.
