Denver Broncos' top executive John Elway believed linebacker Von Miller has learned a lot and grown up after a 2013 season that saw him sat out for six games due to suspension and torn his ACL in December.

In an interview with NFL reporter Dan Hanzus, Elway said he's impressed a lot by the maturity shown by Miller as of late, adding the struggled he had last year served as a wake-up call for the talented pass rusher.

"I think that (Miller) has grown up a lot," Elway said, according to the Broncos' NFL News. "I think he did a good job to adjusting, even though it affected him during the year.

"He's done a tremendous job of doing the right things and everything he's supposed to be doing. So hopefully he can continue to do that, because we'd love Von to be back to the Von we know he can be."

According to Hanzus, Miller's transformation into a more matured player will be vital for the Broncos' return to Super Bowl next season.

"Miller's ability to return from injury and stay on the straight path will be a huge part of the Broncos' push to get back to the Super Bowl. It's hard to imagine Denver topping last season's offensive explosion, which means the defense will need to carry a heavier load," NFL News stated.
