Brandon Graham will be staying with the Philadelphia Eagles as the outside linebacker is set to sign a four year $26 million deal. Graham was one of Eagles head coach Chip Kelly’s top defensive players and will be extending his stay with the Philadelphia franchise since being drafted 13th overall by the Eagles in the 2010 draft in the National Football League, or NFL.

According to the league’s official website, from NFL Insider Ian Rapoport, the deal includes $14 million in guaranteed money for one of the top free agents in this NFL offseason. Other teams reportedly chasing Graham in this offseason were the New York Giants, Miami Dolphins and Tennessee Titans.

The Eagles’ official Twitter account also celebrated the re-signing of Graham:

For his NFL career, in a total of 64 games for the Eagles, the 27 year old Graham has recorded 120 tackles, 17 sacks and 9 forced fumbles. Graham suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his rookie season and underwent surgery that caused him to miss much of the following season. After playing just three games in the 2011 season, he has since played all 16 games in each of the next three seasons.

Philadelphia has been active in the 2015 offseason as Kelly continues to acquire and deal away players that fits his system. Players officially released so far are Trent Cole, Cary Williams, Todd Herremans and James Casey and officially with the team are Brad Jones and Graham. The Eagles will also trade away star running back LeSean McCoy to the Buffalo Bills for Kiko Alonso and are trying to acquire veteran free agent running back Frank Gore, who previously played for the San Francisco 49ers.
