Since it’s release in the US, “Bravely Default” has garnered a huge gathering. The fan-favourite 3DS title that mixes old school Japanese RPG gameplay, with a unique art style enamored many a gamer, to the point that a sequel called “Bravely Second” was announced. Since the title comes out in Japan this month, game publisher Square Enix has decided to tease audiences with a video about the game’s character classes.

The video, shared by Siliconera, showcases a variety of classes that 3DS gamers can choose from. These include the basic ones like Knight, White Mage, Black Mage and the oddly named Freelancer, which were all in the game’s predecessor “Bravely Default.”

As the video goes on, both new and familiar character classes are showcased for the game. New classes include the Tomahawk class, a Wizard class, an Exorcist character class and even a weapon master class known as the Chariot class, which can hold all the weapons in the game. A Cat Master class is also available in the game, which was meant to be a cute joke, but is reportedly quite useful in battles.

Familiar classes that are returning to “Bravely Second” include the Monk, Thief, Merchant, Time Mage, Ranger, Valkyrie, Summoner and the Red Mage. It’s currently unsure if any of the returning character classes will be getting any new skills or features.

In addition to the new character classes in the game, a report from the Anime News Network has confirmed that a collector’s edition of “Bravely Second” will also be available for pre-order. This special edition of the game will include an art book, a figurine of one of the game’s characters Agnes, a music CD and a magnolia strap.

The game is slated to hit Japan on April 23 on the Nintendo 3DS. While no plans have been revealed for a Western version, it wouldn’t be much of a surprise if the sequel eventually made its way to Western stores. As stated earlier, “Bravely Default” has proven to be a huge success in the West, garnering plenty of praise from fans and critics alike, as well as having a good number of regularly showcased fan art.
