Friends, family, and other people around him still can't understand how Jason Lees could kill himself and his 2-year old son Brad, but, several of them have nonetheless united in saying farewell on the day of his funeral.

Jason Lees, who was known as a happy and lovely person by his co-teachers, students, friends, and family, died on Feb. 20 as he jumped off The Story Bridge moments after throwing his 2 year old son off.

Neighbors are, to this day, confused about how a happy dad could take away his own life as well as his son's. They saw the family as a perfect one and people living nearby will always remember Brad's happy and lovely face.

Hundreds of mourners attended the funeral service except for his wife Danielle, who was spotted two days ago at Brad Lee's funeral service but not at Jason's.

Jason Lees' death was something that is very difficult to understand according to Father Bryan Gadd while delivering the sermon to the congregation.

The headmaster of the Anglican Church Grammar School, Jonathan Hensman, also talked about Lees' commitment to being a teacher and rugby coach. His being a good instructor made him popular and well respected by his students.

Lees' coffin was adorned with a jersey, rugby footwear, and football with signatures.. Six pallbearers carried his coffin while parents attending the service were crying as they were holding their children.

In Lees' hometown in Ottawa, Canada, another service was held where several other mourners said goodbye to him. His friends from Canada, Australia, and in other parts of the world will always remember Jason according to what his family has written in his obituary.

An online guestbook was created to pay tribute to the late teacher wherein over 100 people had affixed their signatures.
