'General Hospital' spoilers for Jan. 5, 2017: Sam has some questions for Rudge; a homeless man named Buzz appears and brings trouble

A homeless man appears and it looks like he has a lot to bring to the cast’s already dramatic life. Meanwhile, friendship, concealed truths and flat out lies will get exposed on this upcoming episode of “General Hospital.”

On Thursday , January 5, Sam Morgan (Kelly Monaco) will have some questions about Winston Rudge (David Lee). A homeless man named Buzz (Don Swayze) will surface. Franco (Roger Howarth) gets suspicious of Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Grahn) odd behaviour. Nelle Hayes’ (Chloe Lanier) friendship with Michael Quartermaine (Chad Duell) deepens.

Sam is desperate to know why Rudge was at her mom’s place. She and Jason Morgan have been knocking. Alexis Davis has been blocking them since she has Julian tucked away.

Sam appears to be unfazed and will push past. She is stunned to find her father there. Alexis will try to cover it up but Sam would not have any of it. S he will grill her dad about Rudge and why he has b een communicating with the pawn shop owner. Of course, Julian will come up with even more lies but all are meant to protect her.

Don Swayze will debut on this episode as a homeless person named Buzz and Soaps She Knows says that he is Nelle’s father who has been up to no good. It is worth noting that Nelle has a grudge against Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) because of the black market kidney deal, but she still works for her father. Nelle lied earlier and said that her parents are dead; but if spoilers are correct about Buzz, then that only means that her dad is still alive.

Buzz will initially be revealed as a homeless person, but he will be more devious and dangerous than he appears. Viewers already know that Nelle’s parents were not model individuals since they sold her kidney. Other spoilers reveal that Buzz has ties to the new mob boss or could be a henchman of the new reigning boss in town.

This upcoming episode of “General Hospital” will air on January 5 at 1:00 p.m. on ABC Daytime.
