A character from beyond the Wall may make his first appearance in “Game of Thrones” Season 7 in episode 6. The actor playing the role was spotted in Belfast recently, confirming his brief return.

[Spoiler alert]

Benjen Stark (Joseph Mawle) returned in the previous season as a changed. A lot of the filming of the next season has already been completed, but there was no news of this character until now.

Mawle has been spotted in Belfast, suggesting that the actor will be filming his scenes now. A picture of the actor with fellow cast members Iain Glen (Jorah Mormont) and Kristofer Hivju has surfaced online.

According to a report by Watchers on the Wall, Director Alan Taylor and Kit Harington (Jon Snow) were also spotted in Belfast. This suggests that they are filming episode 6 at the moment. A major action sequence of “Game of Thrones” season 7 is said to be featured in this episode, and Benjen may appear in this scene.

According to a previous leak about the show posted on Reddit, Benjen will only have a cameo appearance in this show. The action sequence in episode 6 involves Jon Snow and his men being surrounded by the army of the dead. Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) will swoop in at the last minute to save the King in the North, but some of the other characters are expected to die in this scene.

Will Benjen Stark show up just to die at a crucial moment? The show is racing towards the end now, and the next season could see the fall of the Wall.

“Game of Thrones” season 7 will premiere on June 25, 2017. HBO is currently in the early stages of finalizing a spin-off series of the show. An announcement about the plot of the next show is yet to be made.
