Cast member Sophie Turner teased some details about the future of her character Sansa Stark in “Game of Thrones” Season 7 in a recent interview. The actress said that her character may have acquired a taste for power and death after the events of the previous season.

[Spoiler alert]

In an interview with Vulture, Turner (Sansa Stark) said that her character got a “taste of power” for the very first time towards the end of the previous season. She also pointed out how her character had an interesting smile on her face after the death of Ramsay (Iwan Rheon).

The questions for Sansa this time around is does she enjoy the power she now has, and has she developed a taste for death? Turner explained that her character is certainly very powerful now and it will be interesting to see how she handles all this power.

There is scope for more Dark Sansa now in “Game of Thrones” Season 7, Turner revealed. The actress pointed out that the first hint about the dark turn for her character came with the change in her outfit. She said her character was prepared to play the game, but so far the fans have only seen a “mild” form of that.

Sansa is apparently now “playing the game.” She will be “very ruthless,” and if she wants something she is going out to get it.

An interesting dynamic, which has been a part of the show for some time now, is that of Sansa and Petyr Baelish (Aidan Gillen). Turner said that she has control over him because he owes her “big time” for “selling her to the Boltons.” She explained that if she were to reveal what he did with her it would “destroy” his reputation.

Although Sansa has power now, it is not clear if people will listen to her or not, Turner said. The actress said the fans will have to wait and see “Game of Thrones” Season 7 to find out.
