“You have shown me what it’s like to have a son,” Dr Wells tells Barry Allen in the beginning of “The Flash” Season 1 Episode 15 promo video. This develops an episode after Barry tells Joe to stop suspecting Wells’ involvement in his mother’s death.
“Dr Wells had something to with Barry’s mom’s murder,” Cisco says in the next promo sequence. Written in bold letters in between The Flash 1x15 promo frames: “They trusted him. But they never suspected him.”
“The Flash” Season 1 Episode 15 airs Mar. 17 on The CW. This is a long wait for avid fans of the DC Comics-inspired series.
In The Flash 1x14, Wells as Reverse Flash shows up to finally put an end to General Wade Eiling. In doing so, he takes out Grodd, who is holed up in a tunnel, presumably in Central City. Wells implies Grodd and Eiling have their own history.
In related events, Iris West is prepared to deeply investigate S.T.A.R. Labs, after meeting Ronnie and witnessing Caitlin and Barry lie to her face about his identity (The Flash 1x14). Iris is working with Mason Bridge, who tells her Dr Wells is a suspicious character.
As for Ronnie Raymond and Prof. Stein are out to find a more permanent solution to their F.I.R.E.S.T.O.R.M. situation. The Flash stops Firestorm from killing Eiling, but toward the end of The Flash 1x14, Wells somewhat does the job, saying he protects his own.
“The Flash” Season 1 Episode 15 is expected to show the repercussions of Wells’ lies. In one remarkable promo clip frame, Cisco comes face to face with Wells, seemingly revealing himself as Reverse Flash. Barry, who is determined to explore time travel, is likely to see his mother’s murder differently.
“The Flash” airs Tuesdays on The CW.
