It is 'work honeymoon' for the newly married couple of "Castle" in episode 7 of Season 7, which is titled "Once Upon A Time in the West." The two are heading to a dude ranch to investigate a case as well as for their honeymoon. The last episode "Time of Our Lives" saw Rick Castle and Kate Beckett exchanging vows in an impromptu wedding ceremony, which only Martha, Alexis and Beckett's father attended.

The episode 7 will see Beckett and Castle, like always, investigating a murder case. However, the twist is that they will go undercover as newlyweds to investigate the case. Speaking about the honeymoon episode, David Amann, showrunner of the show, said to TV Line, "... they were going to have to go undercover, in this case under the pretense that they are newlyweds, even though they are newlyweds. But they're not there to go on their honeymoon, they're there to solve a murder. But that doesn't mean that some fun can't be had along the way."

Amann also said that Castle and Beckett would not have been able to go on an actual honeymoon, if this case had not come up. The writers are going to address the honeymoon issue at the beginning of episode 7, according to the showrunner. Amann did not rule out the possibility of "firefly nods" in "Once Upon a Time in the West." The preview of the episode indicates that it is going to be an adventurous work honeymoon, with plenty of fun moments for the viewers.

In "Time of Our Lives," Castle had a vision of 'alternate reality'. Castle got a perspective on how his and Beckett's lives and also Martha, Alexis, Ryan, Esposito and Lanie's lives would have turned out if he and Beckett had not met. Later, he once again proposed to Beckett and asked her to marry him without wasting another day. She agreed and the two got married in a beautiful scene.

According to ABC's Official Synopsis of episode 7:

"In "Castle" Season 7 Episode 7 "Once Upon a Time in the West," when Castle and Beckett learn that a murder victim may have been poisoned at an Old West-style resort, they visit the resort posing as newlyweds to uncover the truth."
