Call of Duty
"Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" from Treyarch will be released on Nov. 6. Activision

With just a day left in the calendar for the release date of “Call of Duty: Black Ops 3,” the developer has already released the Day One patch for the Xbox One version. The newest patch is just the same size as the PS4 version, which is at the 2.5GB.

The Day One patch is more for stability than anything else. On the whole, the game now clocks in at around 50GB of space on the next-gen console. Considering the space necessary to run “Call of Duty: Black Ops 3,” it’s understandable that a couple of features of the game are sub-par when it comes to the last-gen versions.

Gamepur obtained some screenshots of the PS4 version, showing very poor graphics compared to its next-gen counterpart. This is on top of the story mode being completely scrapped from the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions.

All in all, the only thing that PS3 and Xbox 360 will only really get the multiplayer mode and the Shadows of Evil zombie mode. Screenshots of the leaked PS3 version can be seen in the link above, but as far as optimal gameplay goes, the PS4, Xbox One and even PC are undoubtedly on a better scale.

For PC players of “Call of Duty: Black Ops 3,” Nvidia has also release ne drivers for the game. The new drivers will reportedly provide the best experience for Treyarch’s shooter title, thanks to the Game Ready optimisations of the technology.

The drivers were announced via the official GeForce website. They have an SLI profile for “Call of Duty: Black Ops 3.” However, it also comes with profiles for five other titles, including “Act of Aggression,” “Star Craft II,” “NBA 2K16,” “Triad Wars” and “Sword Coast Legends.” The new driver has updated or added Direct X 11 SLI profile compatible with the aforementioned titles.

“Call of Duty: Black Ops 3” will launch on Nov. 6. It will debut on all platforms, namely the PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. Recently, it was also announced the Dead Ops Arcade 2 will be coming to the game, in either first or third person.
