A Brisbane woman was accused of bestiality after police had found videos of her performing sexual intercourse with a dog.

The 25-year-old Australian woman was identified as Jenna Louise Driscoll. Police suspected that Driscoll was involved in drug trafficking. That was why her mobile phone was checked. However, the officers found something totally different from what they were looking for. They found a number of videos where Driscoll was seen having sex with a dog, Courier Mail reported. According to reports, there were three videos on Driscoll's mobile phone that featured her with a dog. Driscoll was seen performing sexual intercourse in all three of them.

Driscoll appeared in Brisbane Magistrate Court on Oct. 29. She was charged with three counts of bestiality. In addition, she was also charged with possession of a dangerous drug, trafficking, three counts of supplying and two counts of possession of an item used in the commission of a crime. Driscoll's lawyer Rachel Cavalli appealed that her client should be granted bail. The appeal was not opposed in court. Magistrate John Costello granted bail to the accused. Driscoll was ordered to reappear in court in December.

Police prosecutor Sergeant Scott Pearson, on the other hand, asked for reporting conditions which would require the 25-year-old accused to report to police once every week. She will also have to stay at an Enoggera unit in Brisbane's northwest. Pearson said that Driscoll was allegedly involved in dealing marijuana among a number of friends. According to the prosecutor, Driscoll's text messages revealed that she had sold 4oz of marijuana on one occasion for $1150. Pearson referred to another occasion when Driscoll had allegedly sold 3oz marijuana for $900.

According to the Section 59 of the Crimes Act 1958, a man is not allowed to have anal sex with an animal of either sex. Neither is an animal allowed to perform anal sex on a man or a woman. A man is prohibited from performing vaginal sex with an animal whereas a woman is not allowed to have penile sex with an animal. The penalty of such offence is Level 6 imprisonment which means that an offender will be jailed for five years at the most.
