Spoiler alert: This update contains major Arrow Season 3 spoilers. Read at your own risk.

After watching "Arrow" Season 3, Episode 9, titled "The Climb," the most natural thing to do for many viewers is to hit their favourite forum sites and air their questions or speculations. In these sites, people are talking about the pun in the "fall finale," "Oliver Stoneheart," and DC Comics' Lazarus Pit, among others.

Anticipating the reactions, show boss Marc Guggenheim goes on Twitter to clarify something about a 2015 Arrow Season 3 episode: "The Return."

"I probably should mention that the title of Arrow Ep. 3x14 - 'The Return' -- does [not] refer to Oliver. Or Slade Wilson," Guggenheim tweeted, right after Arrow Season 3, Episode 9 aired in the U.S. East Coast. (It has been reported that Manu Bennett will reprise his role as Slade Wilson in 2015.)

This puzzle invited more speculations, and some fans are convinced that Tommy Merlyn is coming back from the dead. Arrow Season 3 is bringing back Colin Donnell, Stephen Amell has confirmed that on his social media sites. Donnell was recently seen in a flashback episode, but it seems there would be far more of him next time.

'Arrow' Fall Finale: Oliver Queen vs Ra's al Ghul: And The Winner Is ---

"You should take pride. You survived longer than most," Ra's al Ghul tells Oliver Queen in the final moments of Arrow 3x9, the mid-season finale. Oliver gets a chance to fight back after this, but Ra's is just out of his league. The "head of the demon" wins, and Oliver falls to his end.

Stephen Amell later went on Facebook to thank fans for their show of appreciation for Arrow Season 3, Episode 9. Without giving spoilers, the actor posts, "Despite the title, our show is bigger than any one character. We're going to prove that to you."

The series has gone on hiatus, and will return January 2015. Many fans are convinced that Oliver Queen would be a no-show for one or more episodes of Arrow Season 3.

Advanced Technology Operating Mechanism (A.T.O.M.) Rises!

The presumed death of Oliver Queen is expected to give other DC Comics heroes a chance to rise in Starling City. ATOM has been introduced. Felicity is in to Ray Palmer's plans. One of the speculations is that ATOM will be guarding the city until Ollie returns in Arrow Season 3.

There are speculations that ATOM will save Oliver Queen. They say Felicity will ask Ray Palmer to do so. However, ATOM is still a work in progress. So, what happens next?

Oliver Queen will be saved by Ra's al Ghul himself, says one of the speculations. Since Ra's and the Lazarus Pit element go together in the DC Comics universe, this does not sound farfetched. Some "Game of Thrones" fans are supporting the "Oliver Stoneheart" idea, too.

Marc Guggenheim On What Happens Next In Arrow Season 3

Ra's al Ghul has "a very interesting perspective on Oliver," Guggenheim told IGN in an interview. He knows Oliver did not kill Sara, and he still has major issues to settle with Malcolm Merlyn. Fans expect there will be more of Ra's in the next episodes, and there will be a lot more of Oliver Queen.

"The end of their confrontation will change the show," Guggenheim noted, hinting of new dynamics and bigger story arcs in Arrow Season 3.
