Android 5.1 Lollipop Update For HTC One M8

The Taiwanese tech giant reportedly rolled out the Android 5.0 Lollipop update towards the end of January for its 2014 flagship. However, the Android 5.1 Lollipop for HTC One M8 will now be rolled out in August 2015, says HTC’s Twitter account specific to the UK.

Furthermore, this Lollipop update will apparently bring in the latest Sense UI to the One M8 users. The stand out point of the HTC Sense v7 UI is that users can alter the “grip app switcher to stock Lollipop style.” To top it off, changes like the app reshuffling, new widgets and HTC BlinkFeed updates are also part of the new UI version, notes GSM Arena.

Android 5.0.1 Lollipop Update For Meizu MX4 Pro

The killer smartphone Meizu MX4 Pro has reportedly started receiving the Android 5.0.1 Lollipop update. According to GSM Arena, the size of the downloadable file is 650 MB and the package is being sent as an over-the-top (OTA) update. Upon installing the Lollipop update, the Meizu MX4 Pro should read Android 5.0.1 Lollipop OS along with Flyme OS 4.5.1A.

It is worth noting that the high-end Meizu MX4 Pro was introduced with Android 4.4.4 and Flyme OS 4.0 on board. GSM Arena also says that the Meizu handset has become more responsive because of the new ART runtime in the Lollipop OS. The same software package will also improve the accuracy of the handset’s home button. Furthermore, the overheating issues associated with the handset have been addressed partially in the new Android 5.0.1 Lollipop update.

Android 5.0.2 Lollipop Update For LG G3 S

The 2014 flagship LG G3 has been running Android 5.0 Lollipop. However, the LG G3 S has not been lucky so far. However, the mid-range G3 S that looks a lot like the flagship has now started receiving the Android 5.0.2 Lollipop update in Hungary. As the update is spreading in Hungary, it is only a matter of time before other European countries start receiving the update, notes GSM Arena.
