The Australian Rock and Roll Hall of Famers have added another branch to their legendary empire by releasing their own line of high end wines.

The "You Shook Me All Night Long" rockers have teamed up with Warburn Estate, an Aussie winery, for the release of their own line of wines. The selection of wines were said to come from the world-class wine regions of Barossa and Coonawarra, and are packaged in simple bottles with the band members emblazoned on the prints. The band, whose popularity soared after they formed in 1973, playfully named different variants of the wine with their songs in it such as "Highway to Hell Cabernet," "Back in Black Shiraz," and "Shook Me All Night Long Moscato."

The AC/DC wines will only be available on Aug. 18 at a few liquor and specialty stores like Woolworths, BWS, and Dan Murphy's. According to Woolworth's buying manager, Steve Donohue, they wanted to make sure local fans get first dibs on the exclusive selection of wines.

"We wanted to make sure that AC/DC's hometown fan base could have easy access to their rock icons' wines," says Donohue in a report by The Herald Sun. Donohue adds that Aussie fans need not worry about the wines being sold out.

"We wanted to make sure that AC/DC's hometown fan base could have easy access to their rock icons' wines," continues Donohue in the same Herald Sun report.

"For us it was a no-brainer to make it available nationally, no-one misses out. This is a world-wide phenomena and a first in the (Australian) marketplace." adds Donohue in the Herald Sun post.
