In "The Vampire Diaries" Season 6, episode 10 or mid-season finale episode, the fans are suggested to be ready for a heartbreaking moment. Cast member Paul Wesley, who portrays Stefan Salvatore in the CW TV series, teased that there will be another major death in the upcoming episode.

The 32-year-old actor revealed the bad news in an exclusive E!Online TV Scoop Spoiler Chat report. "Dude, there's always deaths, there is a big one coming up, I will say that, there is a big one that's really going to break the people's hearts," Wesley shared.

However, Paul Wesley did not give a clue as to which TVD character will die in the mid-season finale episode titled "Christmas Through Your Eyes." According to a Carter Matt report, the three major characters, Stefan (Paul Wesley), Elena (Nina Dobrev) and Damon (Ian Somerhalder), appear to be safe.

The report further noted down that a series regular could be the one to face death in the upcoming episode since it will feature flashback scenes to the time when the TVD characters were still in high school. The released synopsis for "The Vampire Diaries" Season 6, episode 10 in a Hypable report claims Stefan will be forced to deliver some devastating news to Caroline (Candice Accola).

It looks like the major death that Paul Wesley teased involves a person who is an important part of Caroline's life. Could it be her mom Sheriff Forbes (Marguerite MacIntyre)? In "The Vampire Diaries" Season 6, episode 7 titled "Do You Remember the First Time," Sheriff Forbes' life was in danger when Tripp's (Colin Ferguson) men captured and threatened to kill her but Caroline was able to save her mom.

When it comes to the Stefan-Caroline or "Steroline" relationship, actor Paul Wesley wants the fans to be patient. The TVD star teased that there will be some beautiful moments between the two characters.

"I do think ultimately that something will happen. It's just a slow burn," Wesley shared. "The Vampire Diaries" Season 6 is scheduled to return on Thursday night, Dec. 11, at 8 p.m. ET on the CW Network with the mid-season finale episode titled "Christmas Through Your Eyes."
