"Supernatural" Season 10 got interesting when the CW TV series officially introduced the new red-haired witch character named Rowena in episode 7 titled "Girls, Girls, Girls." Scottish actress Ruth Connell, who portrays the new "Supernatural" character, recently talked about who and what Rowena will be like in the upcoming episodes as well as her character's relationship with Crowley (Mark Sheppard).

In a TV Line interview, Ruth Connell teased that the upcoming mid-season finale episode titled "The Things We Left Behind" will show more interesting scenes between Rowena and Crowley (Mark Sheppard). The actress revealed that Rowena will not whimper or beg for her son's mercy to release her but the witch will provoke the King of Hell instead.

"It's one of the traits of Rowena - when her back's up against the wall, she's going to come fighting and challenging. It'll be interesting to see the conversation after the moment he says 'Mother'," Connell stated with a laugh. The actress teased that the reason why Crowley looked horrified to see his mother is because the reunion brings back their relationship that has several layers to it.

The actress further added that if there is someone who knows how to think or work around Crowley, it is none other than her character, Rowena. Ruth Connell explained that Rowena's return in Crowley's life means the King of Hell will slightly go back to the time that he follows his parents' orders.

Ruth Connell explained that no matter how accomplished Crowley may be, he still comes home as a son to Rowena. The Scottish actress admitted that her "Supernatural" character is a very powerful witch with an agenda of trying to build a coven for power and support.

"The idea of covens, we see how important it is to Rowena and what she's trying to do, maybe what she's lost and what she's trying to gain," Connell shared. However, Ruth Connell is aware that Rowena's presence in the show means the Winchester hunters will be after her character.

Ruth Connell teased that Rowena will cross paths again with Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles) but the witch currently does not want to be close to the hunters again. "I like to keep my healthy distance, if possible," the actress teased with a laugh.

"Supernatural" Season 10 will return with episode 9 or the mid-season finale episode titled "The Things We Left Behind" on Tuesday night, Dec. 9, at 9 p.m. ET on the CW Network.
