Hollywood actor, Hugh Jackman again nabbed the no. 1 spot as the most loved Australian celebrity - - second year in a row, since the poll by Encore magazine began in 2012. And again, for the second time, Kyle Sandilands is voted the least liked Aussie celebrity. Read on to find who among Australian celebrities made the list of the top 10 most loved and 10 most hated Australian celebrities.

Who would really hate 44-year old actor and producer, Hugh Jackman? Australians have proven that they embrace the great story of a low-key waiter who set out to find his journey in Hollywood. And he stayed in it and has done it good when he found his way to reach his stars. That’s Hugh Jackman.

Years ago, the X-Men star was interviewed asking him why he remained grounded despite the immense popularity that he has had since taking on the greatest role of his life - - Wolverine in X-Men franchise. And without hesitation, Hugh knew exactly what to say: two things - - his age and his job before becoming a big name in Hollywood.

"I think it probably helped getting my first movie job when I was 30. By then you're pretty much established as an a**hole or not,” Hugh said in an interview with Contact Music said MetroLyrics, referring to his age as one of the reasons that have kept him grounded amidst popularity.

He further explained that his job as a waiter also stopped him from misbehaving.

"I'd waited enough tables by that point to appreciate what I was given," he also said.

Jackman continued to become a good family man to his wife, Deborah Lee-Furness, seen by many as one of the many reasons Australians have great respect for the actor, allowing him to be named as the No. 1 Most Loved Australian Celebrity by the Encore magazine for the second time this year. Next to Hugh, popular actress Rebecca Gibney nabs the No. 2 Most Loved spot.

Meanwhile. Kyle Sandilands also landed for his original spot, the Top Most Hated Australian celebrity. It looks like Aussies do not approve of his demeanor and aura in most of the reality television shows he has been on through the years - - always considered with the nasty remarks in most of these shows, including, Australian Idol, Big Brother, Australia’s Got Talent and The X-Factor. Joining Sandilands in the bottom list of popular celebrities is Lara Bingle, who according to news.com.au has her popularity increasingly decreased after the reality series, Being Lara Bingle, had gone on air.

"The second year of the Encore Score has produced an interesting set of results as a number of celebrities move up and down the list," managing editor of Encore, Brooke Hemphill said, according to news.com.au.

Hemphill added, “This year we included an additional 300 personalities and we anticipate Australian stars will be falling over themselves to download the app to find out where they have placed."

More details on the survey conducted with 3500 respondents for this year’s poll by Encore magazine can be found here. Results of this year's survey was released at the Mumbrella 360 Conference on June 6.
