Ronald Koeman sparked the fire in Southampton's hope of completing the business end of the league, after many of his players left. His team have regained their early-season form because of their successive victories, but being in the fourth place with thirty two points is indeed a downgrade for teams like Arsenal and Liverpool that are still trying to get a place in the English Premier League.

With league leaders Chelsea FC next, Southampton is hoping that their chemistry will turn out well and Londoners fell victims to luck. Ronald Koeman, Southampton head said that although the Chelsea FC has a 'fantastic' side, he still wants to defeat them.

"I believe in our way of playing and not to change the system, we try to do it our way," said Koeman. "We are dreaming a little bit now because we have a great position in the league." The manager also added that they had difficult times following their defeats but now, they have already won twice in a row and they are always doing their best to play offensive football. Furthermore, he reiterated that if they won't go for a win, they'd rather stay home.

The 'go-for-it', could be Southampton's tactic as the quality between the two sides is massive with Chelsea FC possessing a hefty weapon in the form of quick scintillating counter attacks. If the Saints attack in numbers, they could easily get hammered.

The return of James Ward-Prowse has helped the team turn fresh again. In fact, Southampton looks to contest for a single point, if not for all three. According to Ward-Prowse, the team is buzzing and they are already back on track. Furthermore, they are expecting a great game between the two teams.

He went on to conclude that Chelsea has a fantastic side, which has a lot of world-class players but if they want to succeed, they will eventually need to face teams like them and it is a challenge that they are ready to face.
