While fans of FX’s hit biker drama “Sons of Anarchy” are still coming to terms with the mess that occurred at last month's Space City Comic Con, Charlie Hunnam, who played the hit character Jax Teller in the TV series, is coming back to Houston for a two-day appearance at coming weekend’s Comicpalooza 2016 at the George R. Brown Convention Center.

The news has come as a welcome relief for fans, especially Space City Comic Con’s VIP pass holders, who were highly disappointed as the “Sons of Anarchy” reunion got cancelled after the promoter reportedly failed to provide anything, including the stars’ professional fees and hotel costs.

Mismanagement, financial bungling and internal struggles made matters worse. The promoter reportedly called the police and accused especially Charlie of harassment. Kim Coates, Rusty Coones, Emilio Rivera, Ryan Hurst and other cast members were to make their appearances at the highly-anticipated event.

As the Facebook page of Comicpalooza reports, Charlie will make his appearance at the event on June 18 and June 19. He will be honouring the VIP ticket holders from Space City Comic Con by offering them free photographs.

Fans will also have the opportunity to meet, greet and ask questions to “Sons of Anarchy” star character Jax Teller.

“We know that Charlie’s recent trip to Texas to meet with fans did not go as either he or his fans had hoped. But it’s simply amazing that he would come right back to create a memorable experience for his fans almost immediately. He is very dedicated to his fans, and we are honoured to have him at Comicpalooza,” Comicpalooza founder John Simons told Chron.

He added that the special appearance by Charlie is his way to give back fans what they missed last month. According to booking agent Dave Altman, Charlie very much wanted to return to Houston after the fiasco to reconnect with his fans. Hence, he has been thankful to Comicpalooza for finding a way to do just that.

Other celebrity guests who will be making their appearances include the cast of the sci-fi thriller “Aliens” and crime drama “The Boondock Saints, Kate Beckinsale, Tara Reid, David Prowse, Peter Mayhew, Eliza Dushku, Lou Ferrigno, Walter Koenig and Lennie James. However, those who missed the opportunity to meet Charlie will be eager to be present at the venue when the “Sons of Anarchy” star makes his appearance.
