It wasn't long ago when intimate pictures of Taylor and Connor parade on the covers of magazine and all throughout the web. But after few months of dating, it looks like Taylor has another tearful song to write.

When it looked like Taylor is aiming to keep his Kennedy boyfriend forever, their summer romance lasted for barely three months. Since Taylor is not exactly known for keeping long term relationships, few of her friends have suspected that her relationship with Connor will end the same way as it did with her past boyfriends.

And now as predicted, Taylor has another inspiration for a break up song. Since she's publicly admitted that she takes inspiration from her real heartaches, it might not be too long before we hear another bitter song from the 22-year-old country singer.

But although they looked loved up when they're pictured together, why did they break up? A friend close to the singer said that the relationship failed because Taylor was getting serious too fast. Apparently, Taylor also has an "obsession" with the Kennedy family.

"Conor's just an 18-year-old kid and wasn't ready for anything super serious. But Taylor is looking for her soulmate and it kind of freaked him out with how strong she came on," the pal said on RadarOnline. "She was more obsessed with the idea of dating a Kennedy, than the actual Kennedy she was dating."

The insider added that Taylor and Connor's breakup was more amicable than bitter and said that the reason for their split has more to do because of the distance. Taylor has been busy promoting her "Red" album and hasn't seen Connor who's based in Massachusetts for about a month.

"It's been over a month since they've even seen each other. With her promotion for Red, she has no time off until the end of the year," the friend added.

Taylor and Connor were first spotted together at the Kennedy family mansion in Hyannisport back in July. A short time after that, Taylor was believed to have purchased a $4.5 home near the Kennedy compound.
