A "Downton Abbey" cast member reveals that Prince William has been watching the show.

Speaking with Andy Cohen on Bravo's "Watch What Happens Next," "Downton Abbey" cast members Andy Leech, Rob James-Collier, Laura Carmichael and Lesley Nicol respond to questions that many of their American fans are dying to ask, including instances of meeting the British Royal Family.

Leech, who plays the widow of Lady Cybil Branson, was the first to answer, as he talks about an event he attended where Prince William was also present.

'I was actually at an event last week with Prince William, now the Duke of Cambridge, so yeah -- I met him last week, shook his hand,' says Leech.

'He actually said, 'I'm a big fan of the show-only now that my wife's had a baby. Obviously he's got a lot of downtime, so he's obviously, she's got him watching this, and 'You're watching with me!' says the star with a laugh, while imitating William's wife Kate Middleton.

On the other hand, Nicol who plays chef Mrs. Patmore also shares her own 'royal' encounter.

'I met Camilla Parker Bowles very briefly,' says Nicol. But when Cohen looked less impressed with her answer, Nicol quipped with '(y)ou know, it's the nearest one I've got to.'

Meanwhile, Cohen jokes to Leech about receiving tweets from One Direction fans who compared him to Niall Horan. Leech agrees with the comparison, but when asked about meeting the young singer, he says, 'He's my son. I had him really young. I had a choice to give him to the circus or a boy band. I chose a boy band. He's been much better there because his backflips were terrible.'

Nicol also confesses to Cohen that unlike her character in Downton Abbey, she not much of a kitchen whiz.

'For many, many years, before I met my current husband who can cook, I would invite people over to my house for dinner and usually what would happen is it wouldn't be ready,' says Nicol, adding, 'People knew that and they'd come a bit early to finish the dinner because it wouldn't be there. Then you could eat. It's quite bad I suppose.'

"Downton Abbey" is already on its fifth season in the UK, but US fans would not be seeing it until Jan. 5 next year over at PBS.
